Hi Brother and Sister Busco,
We are happy to report that your son arrived in Puerto Rico. We know there has been a lot of news reports regarding Hurricane Irma, but please know PR is safe. Although some of the missionaries are without electricity and water, they all have safe shelter. All their needs are taken care of by either the members or the mission office. Personally, we think challenges help develop character and Christlike attributes.
Sister Smart has told the missionaries that because they were saved from a natural disaster, they now need to save another. We are looking forward to miracles and many baptisms. Look for the blessing in your life because of your son's service. And when you write your weekly letters to your son, please let him know how his service is blessing your family. Keep your letters upbeat and encouraging.
Five minutes with Elder Busco and we knew what an outstanding young man he is and what a great missionary he will be. We're so excited to have him in our mission.
