Brian & Elder Gee grave digging |
I forgot to mention it last week, but we just had transfers. I'm still in Chaparral with Elder Gee, so their isn't really anything new there.
As far as my week went though.... it was definitely interesting. I've never had to dig so many animal graves in my life. We got a call at the beginning of the week to dig a grave for someone's goose that just died. The next day, we got a call from another member to go dig a grave for their dog. Then the day after that we got another call to go dig another grave for someone's dog that just died. I don't know what's going on, but I swear we could start up our own grave digging business with the amount of calls we've been getting.

We also picked up two nails in our tire. Which meant we had to drive out to El Paso and spend two hours getting the tire changed. I tried to make some of my own salsa too. It didn't taste as good as I thought it would. I just through in a bag of dried chile de arbol, a package of habaneros, and a tomato with a little water and salt. I guess it's harder to make a good salsa than I thought. I should probably just follow a recipe or something.
On a more bright note, we actually had a pretty good week missionary wise. We spent a lot of time finding new investigators, and ended up running into quite a few awesome people. We also were taken out to a restaurant out here, and a lady sitting behind us paid for all of our meals. There are so many great people in the world, and it's so cool as a missionary to be able to run into a lot of them.
