It was actually a really good week. I forgot my planner though so I'm not going to be able to remember everything I did. On P-day, our entire zone went bowling. We had so many people come in they ran out of pins. It was super fun though. It was nice to be able to switch it up from the usual soccer games we do.
So my area is Chaparral. It's a trailer park like in the middle of nowhere. This will be more than six months that I have been in my area. I still haven't left. I have the same companion too for this transfer. I will be switching to a different area for sure next transfer. There's a place called Old Chaparral though which is still in our area. Old Chaparral is like Chaparral, but even more in the middle of nowhere. We almost never go out there because it's super far away and there is like no work. We decided to go out there this week because we had a lot of extra miles to drive. We ended up pulling up to a giant box crate with a security camera on it, and a little tiny RV next to it. It was supposedly a members house. We were convinced that they had to be cooking meth our something. Either way, we definitely didn't knock that house. We also ended up driving down what we thought was a road for about ten minutes. It wasn't until we got stuck and had to use our four wheel drive to get out before we realized it was a riverbed. I guess we should have figured that out when we didn't see any street signs.

Apart from all that though, we actually found someone in Old Chaparral. He's been a less active ever since he got in a car accident. He has the craziest story ever. He crashed his car, and they started to operate on him in the hospital. They ended up just unplugging him because he was for sure a goner. They didn't even close him back up from the surgeries. He somehow ended up making it through, and now he can walk and talk again. His entire nervous system is damaged, and he's in a special study because they don't know how he is able to move. He's still alive though, and now we finally were able to start meeting with him. That's a miracle story if I've ever heard one. It's awesome to be able to see the hand of God work in everyone's lives.
There was a lot more that happened as well, but I can't remember a lot of it. Mission life is so busy, something super crazy will happen one day, and by the next day you will just have so much going on you won't be able to remember it.
Love you all!
